Day out at Whitemans

Well as the thermometer starts to drop quickly over on the east coast, I thought I might throw a threw photos of the mobs lastest day out at Whitemans Park. It was a barmy 25 as four of the nevilles hit the pool for a nice dip, while over in the hinterlands of Armidale it came down to a chilly -7.2!!! crikey. Our hottest day this month was on mothers day when we had a nice 30! (I nearly put the aircon on, ha,ha), but mostly we are around 23-24 I just thought I might say this to warm up the chilly hearts of those Armidaleterrians who are expecting a -1 on next saturday..... suckers!

As you can see Chase is still getting his sea legs and is a bit worried about this water stuff, and with sharks like sarah swimming around I don't blame him. But while were on the subject of water, here in Middle swan we just had a nice drop of rain (50mm) last week which poped us up for the year with 99mm. Where a bit behind our average for this time but not like our cousins over there in Armidale, who are just on there average with a massive 323mm strewth! So it's just not chilly but also wet up there in those hills ha,ha (sorry I just can't help it Jodi)

Here's the other nevilles who were getting wet Sarah, the Osk and Harrison, hay Jodi n' Chris did you notice no clouds in the sky ha,ha.

But as you can see Sarah shark did finally get her hands on the poor little sod.

As you can see Chase isn't all that happy with what was going on, but he'll get use to it soon.

The first thing he did when he got out of the water was hit the bloody dirt.... little bugger!

'Get me out of here and put me somewhere where there's no POOL'
!!! okay we'll send you to Armidale ha,ha.

While the kiddies were having a swim the misses was getting our tucker ready, thats why Jacko didn't want to go for a swim as that boy loves his tucker. But it wasn't long before the rest of us was over to the table, and under some shade to get out of that hot sun (sorry Jodi ha,ha).

Rough Nut n' tough Nut

As we were having a walk in that beaut sun we noticed a tram going past, yep Whitemans Park is a bloody ripper place for a picnic.

Then it was time to hit the swings and here's Chase having some fun in the sun!! ha,ha

Jacko teaching Chase how to slide down this slide, with a bit of encouraging he was sliding down before you could say 'it's wet over there in Armidale' ha,ha sorry Jo. But it was a ripper day out at Whitemans Park, but i'm not looking forward to June and July where the thermometer drops to a cool 18's and bloody 17's. And some nights it gets to 6's and bloody 4's!!! crikey thats not good, but it could be worse ..... hay Jodi! ha,ha.
