The bush treehouse

Just sitting around the house last weekend and thought might take the kiddies for a drive, it was between footy matches so why not. So after asking them for a place to go to, they all said 'the bush treehouse'. So I threw Sarah,Harrison and the big Osk into the commodore and off we went towards the vineyards.

As you can see the kiddies had a go on the swings and just mucked around for awhile, then we went out for our walk. As we crossed the foot bridge Sarah noticed this sign and told me she 'knew where Ned Kelly was hanged'! Oh do you I asked, and she said 'Yes just over there'. As my eyesight followed to where she was pointing, it dawned on yours truly what she was on about. I told her 'sorry love that's not where Ned Kelly was hanged, but it's just a notice thats tell's you that if the farmer finds you on his land he will HANG YOU'!!! Okay a little bit harish but fairdinkum the kiddies went nowhere near that farmers fence, so job done.

Then we made the small walk to the tree house, and isn't it a little beauty hay. Why they built this treehouse i'm not sure, but I know that the kiddies love climbing up into it.

You might of noticed the smile of Oscars face just doesn't look very natural, and that was because he was really shitting himself. He thought this is a little ripper, as he climbed into it, but once the wind blew and it rocked a little bit... that was the end of his love affair with this house in a tree.... 'get me outta here'

But both Sarah and the little fella Harrison was living it up, both having a beaut time and isn't it a little ripper of a treehouse.

But as they were playing it up in the cubby the big Osk was making for the exit trap door, I think he thought that trees were for the birds and not a place for a house!

So after a ripper play around it was time for us to make the little walk back across the foot bridge, and back to the commodore for the short drive back home.

And as you can see Harrison was in his element he just loved being up there with the maggies, and it was good to see him up and about and feeling real beaut. He's back at school and feeling a lot better, it's just one of those things that will take time.... Good on ya little fella.
